Position Overview

  • Assist customers with inquiries related to P&C insurance policies, including coverage, billing, and claims.
  • Process policy changes, renewals, endorsements, and cancellations in a timely and accurate manner.
  • Provide quotes for new and existing customers while ensuring compliance with underwriting guidelines.
  • Educate clients on policy options to ensure they have adequate coverage based on their needs.
  • Maintain accurate records of customer interactions, transactions, and follow-ups within the agency’s system.
  • Collaborate with underwriters, agents, and other team members to address customer needs efficiently.
  • Stay up to date with industry regulations, company policies, and product offerings.
  • Handle incoming calls from customers promptly and professionally.
  • Initiate outbound calls to follow up on inquiries, resolve issues, or promote products and services.
  • Identify customer concerns and resolve them effectively to ensure a positive experience.
  • Utilize problem-solving skills and product knowledge to address inquiries and complaints.
  • Strive to provide swift resolutions to customer issues and inquiries, maintaining efficiency while ensuring accuracy and quality in interactions.
  • Engage with customers to understand their needs and preferences, offering personalized solutions and recommendations to meet individual requirements.
  • Actively promote our products and services during customer interactions, utilizing upselling and cross-selling techniques to maximize sales opportunities.
  • Maintain compliance with regulatory requirements and adhere to company policies and data protection guidelines.

Qualifications

  • Active Property & Casualty (P&C) License required.
  • Previous experience in a customer service or sales role within the insurance industry preferred.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills with a customer-first approach.
  • Ability to multitask, prioritize workload, and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
  • Proficiency in using insurance management systems and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Bilingual (English/Spanish) is a plus.

Requisitos

  • Licencia activa de Propiedad y Accidentes (P&C) requerida.
  • Experiencia previa en servicio al cliente o ventas en la industria de seguros (preferido).
  • Habilidades sólidas de comunicación e interpersonales con un enfoque centrado en el cliente.
  • Capacidad para multitareas, priorizar el trabajo y cumplir con plazos en un entorno dinámico.
  • Dominio del uso de sistemas de gestión de seguros y Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Ser bilingüe (inglés/español) es un plus.
