Obamacare extended until August 15th. Last week, it was announced that the special enrollment period for health insurance marketplace under the Affordable Care Act, known as Obamacare, will be extended until August 15th.

This new period, which will run from May 15th to August 15th, aims to offer cheaper health insurance options to Americans, especially to the millions of people affected by the pandemic, who have lost their jobs or seen their incomes reduced.

According to official sources, over 200,000 Americans enrolled in Obamacare during the first two weeks of the current special enrollment period, which started on February 15th.

Remember that health insurance plans operating under Obamacare are government-subsidized medical plans that must cover ten essential services. These include outpatient services, emergency services, and hospital treatments that include medical tests and exams received during a hospital stay. Maternity services covering all pregnancy-related treatments, and care for the expectant mother and baby, are also included, as well as coverage for mental health treatments, prescription medications, and rehabilitation services, such as those needed after a stroke. Necessary medical screenings for diagnosing an illness and a wide range of pediatric care, including vaccinations, children’s medical exams, and vision and dental care, are also covered.

Don’t miss this opportunity to have excellent health insurance designed to protect your health and that of your family for a minimal cost. Obamacare extended until August 15th.
