I strongly recommend staying away from this insurance agent. I requested that my homeowners policy through Univista/Alain be canceled because I had already obtained new coverage. Proof of the replacement policy was provided, yet instead of properly processing my cancellation, this agent contacted Slide and my new policy ended up being canceled.

When I called and asked for copies of my cancellation paperwork, he repeatedly refused to provide them. Slide informed me that the agent was responsible for sending me the cancellation letter, but he failed to do so. It appeared that he was intentionally delaying the process until the 30-day period expired, which could have left me without the ability to secure replacement coverage and forced me to remain with him.

The situation became so serious that I had to contact the Florida insurance authorities for assistance. When Slide attempted to contact him, he claimed that he had no cancellation request or documentation—even though proof of my replacement insurance had already been sent.

This was an extremely stressful, dishonest, and unprofessional experience. Homeowners depend on insurance agents to protect their homes—not interfere with their coverage, withhold important paperwork, and make the cancellation process unnecessarily difficult. I would never trust this agent with my insurance again.

BEST SERVICE EVER!! The team is amazing!! The way they treat customers is just wonderful, i was paying around $210 for 1 car without accident or tickets and they give me, $150 for 1 year and full cover, thanks to Univista for doing what you do best: satisfy the customer and excellent customer service.
